Question about Lian-Li EX-503 HDD Hot Swap RAID Case

Yes, I used it first with an iMac and now with a Windows 10 PC. I have 3 4TB drives formatted as a single disk. I format it as HDFS for OSX and now as NFTS for Windows. The connection is USB 3. When I first bought, I tried plugging it to a router to use it as a NAS but OSX kept failing to copy my files, so i connected directly.
