Question about Seagate Backup Plus Portable Drive

Is this external hard drive fast enough to store photos and videos and edit them directly on it? (incl. video rendering etc.) or is even a portable SSD not enough? Does anyone have any experience with this? Thanks for the answer

I can recommend the Seagate HD, it has SATA III fast interface with USB 3. It should be sufficient for your requirements. However, for video editing, if you are using a professional pgm, I would edit on the internal drive first. The SSD Standard HD are also equipped with SATA III interface. If you are looking for a luxury solution, I would prefer an internal Samsung SDD with M2 interface. However, your PC/NB must have a corresponding M2 slot.
