Is this error known? After about a year of use, the XGIMI projector shows a kind of pixel error that is noticeable on the projected screen. First, a bright dot appeared, then two more, always in the same place on the screen but scaled accordingly. Very annoying with dark pictures/films. I sent the device in for repair. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Galaxus for the quick and uncomplicated replacement.
If the problem occurs with the Horizon Ultra, it's a good idea to extend the warranty to the maximum, which I did.
I have not experienced this error with Horizon Ultra. However, I used to own a projector that showed the same error. The phenomenon described seems to be pixel errors, probably caused by an overheated DMD chip. These are impurities in the projector that have been burnt onto the chip's micromirrors by heat. Unfortunately, this problem can only be solved by replacing the DMD chip. You can find descriptions on the Internet.
