Is this device reliable?

I haven't had it that long that I can answer this question seriously and objectively. In any case, setting it up was no problem for me, and removing the transport lock was no problem either. I've had 7 wash loads so far, 2 of them in the short programme and 2 in the full wash programme with 8kg each and 3 others. The results were all very good. It should be noted that this machine does not have a programme for boiling laundry, i.e. 90 or 95 degrees Celsius does not exist. The laundry is nevertheless clean as expected with the long wash time factor.
The operation seems a little confusing at first with the programme booklet, but you quickly find your way around the system almost intuitively.
To date, I would say everything has been done right.
