Question about Corsair Vengeance Airflow

Yes, the assembly is kept really simple. The fan housing is clipped onto the Ram lock with the legs provided.
Only the small fan makes noise due to the high speed. At about 50% power, however, the fan no longer provides any air flow.

In principle, I think so, because it is attached to the memory socket and they should all be the same. I couldn't mount it because my Corsair H-100i water cooling system was in the way. Corsair Carbite 400R Midi Tower and an Asrock 990 FX Extrem9 motherboard.
If I remember correctly, the triangular one at the bottom left of the photo (the same on the right) is slipped over the socket and then tightened with a screw.
