Unfortunately, I can't say anything about the comparison with Jura, as I don't know these machines.

Simply put, an electric storage heater is a heating appliance that uses electrical energy to generate heat and store it in special materials, such as ceramic bricks. This stored heat is then released into the room when required. Such appliances often utilise cheaper night-time electricity tariffs to store the heat that is released during the day. Newer devices such as this one are now so intelligent that they automatically recognise the cheapest tariffs based on grid utilisation and thus always store the heat at a favourable (electricity) time.
