The VFE heat storage unit is equipped with an integrated room temperature and charging controller. It is prepared for the use of future load-variable tariffs in the smart grid and is ideal for retrofitting existing systems, as it is backward compatible. The universal charging controller can process both AC and DC signals. The capacitive display with proximity function shows information only when in use, ensuring easy handling. A sophisticated operating concept is designed for every target group.

The room temperature controller allows for the setting of daily and weekly programs for comfort and reduced room temperature times and features smart open-window detection. Uncontrolled heat losses and overheating of the room are minimized by approximately 10% through improved thermal insulation within the unit.

The heat storage unit is suitable for flexible use in systems with intelligent control concepts and can be combined with many central charging controls, thanks to the integrated electronic AC/DC charging controller and the adaptability of the ED signal with AC controls. Heat is released through the internal room temperature controller, and the connection of an external room temperature controller is possible. The control voltage signal can be either DC 0.91 - 1.43 V or AC 230 V, % ED.

With the integrated self-learning charging automation, which determines the target charging level in automatic mode based on room temperature, the heat storage unit is also suitable for systems without central charging control. A professional app is available for commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

The modern, appealing design allows for harmonious integration into the room. The powder-coated steel housing is available in traffic white (similar to RAL 9016). Delivery is provided as a kit, consisting of a housing with heating elements and stones.
