Is there no extended warranty for this product? Do I therefore have to assume that after 25 months there is no longer any warranty on this device? A bit strange at this price...

No, unfortunately it is not possible to buy an extended warranty through us. You may be able to see if there are options to buy this additional service from the manufacturer.
