Is there a replacement lamp to buy? Not yet, of course, but at some point the beamer will need a replacement lamp. And how much would that cost?

There are replacement lamps. Check the manual for the exact name. From what I've heard: don't change the lamp immediately if the Acer system says "change now". It's better to listen to your own eye.
