Is there a reason why the player does not play MPEG-4 files? I've already tried everything and converted x times, but it just doesn't work.
It is quite possible that either the audio codec or video codec is not supported and therefore the whole file cannot be played. Try converting without audio, only video (audio deactivated). Then you can at least say it's the video format. Converting is a science in itself and I don't know which format the DVD player finally supports. It has to be a DVD-compatible video format like MPEG-4 (not H.264 or x.264 xvid/divx or whatever) and audio probably MP3.

The MP4 video must have a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels.
Muss konvertiert werden. So geht's mit FFMPEG:

The sound output is extremely quiet on max loves this on the dvd or just poor sound quality
