Question about Polar Vantage V

Is there a possible replacement for the wristband, because this implementation using a double ring is simply a disaster. And especially when swimming. I always have to correct it so that the strap fits into both rings. Furthermore, the watch doesn't have a grip on the dolphin swimming style at all, and sometimes it's a problem with the backstroke. Does anyone have the same experience?

On the Polar website and on YouTube there are good explanations and instructions for the Vantage V. As far as I know, there are 2 sizes of wristbands (S, M). S > art. no. 9817445. Polar explicitly points out that for extreme sports, the chest strap (Polar H10 size M-XXL, art. no. 6191018) must be used together with the watch for accurate heart rate measurement. Otherwise, the too-tight strap blocks the blood circulation and the pulse rate can no longer be detected properly. Since I need a precise overview of my heart rate training, I have tried out various combinations. Depending on the physical activity (work/sport), I use the Polar OH1 on the left upper arm (but without the watch) to avoid damaging the watch. But it works best with the chest strap and the watch. The advantage is that most cardio machines in sports studios also show the heartbeat through the chest strap. And depending on the situation, I can quickly remove the watch and put it in my pocket for protection. mfg Roland Marazzi
