Question about Sonos Beam

It's hard to say, because the Sonos Arc has just come onto the market and is the successor to the Sonos Playbar. When comparing the two speakers, you can see that the Arc supports Dolby 5.1. The Sonos Arc has 8 woofers, Beam only 4, so you have a richer bass sound.

I myself own the Sonos Beam, combined with 2 Sonos One Gen 2. and have built a surround sound system. I have to say, the movies have a new level now. A real cinema feeling. I am really satisfied. I would only recommend the Arc in a large room. The volume of all combined is not suitable for a flat.

Basically, you have to know what you prefer and what you want or can fit in your TV/room. The Arc is longer, has a better sound but is also more expensive. I would recommend you compare the two speakers on the Sonos homepage, or watch some Youtoube videos comparing the two.
