Is the warranty on the 4 TB variant really only 36 months and not also 5 years as with all the smaller models?

As I understand it: At digitec, the warranty is 36 months (= 3 years). The manufacturer is free to give even longer factory guarantees, such as 60 months (= 5 years). Some suppliers also cover the factory warranty or sometimes go beyond it. Legally, a 2-year guarantee seems to be sufficient. With this product, digitec is currently in the middle of the field.
