Is the unit compatible with a thorens td 280 mkii turntable. I want to use it with active speakers. Do I need any specific cables? LG and thank you pio

It's just a preamp and it works great. I have connected it to the stereo system. For perfectionists, the audio quality depends on the cables used, but depending on the choice, RCA cables can be a lot more expensive than the unit. However, it also works perfectly with cheap cables.

I have connected it to a technics sl-m1210mk2 from there with a cinch to 3.5mm jack cable to an active box and it works fine.
