Question about MSI MPG Z790 CARBON WIFI

Except if you really need either the slightly higher max memory, one extra fan header or the latest wifi tech, then the two models are more or less the same. I have the older gen and I don't even use wifi and 7 fan headers are plenty... also only using 64GB memory (can't care less that the max supported is 192 vs 256GB in the newer model).

I'm happy with my board, and I'll probably stay that way for a few years. So I have no idea about the successor model.
