Is the QE55Q85R better than the QE55Q70r? I see a lot on the internet that the Q70R is supposed to be better than the Q80R in picture quality etc. but I can't find anything about the Q85R.
Samsung did not have full array dimming until after the 80 series. This means that the black levels are much better. The 85 series has around 100 dimming zones and the 90 series already has around 400.
Dimming zones: The backlighting of the LCD display. As I understand it, the more there are, the closer you are to the black levels of an OLED screen.
By the way, the anti-reflective coating is really great.
Well, I can't say anything about the 70R, but the 85R really has a great picture from my point of view. Above all, the screen is anti-reflective.
