Question about Apple MacBook Pro Retina

the biggest difference between a ch-fr and ch-de keyboard is the order of the "é ö" and "à ä" on the keys, most users never notice the difference if the software is well configured (in the mac settings)

My keys : é on the left, ö on the rigth. Does it make a difference as it's a software setting ?
