Question about Bosch Home & Garden Indego S 500

CHANGE was already promised at the end of 2022! And now the same standard text always comes up when asked again! It takes time and they are working on a solution! When asked again, again the same text module! So this is definitely not SMART!

WARNING FOR SWISS USERS: The Bosch mowers use a 2G phone network connection for the "Smart/Cloud" connection. The last 2G network was switched off by Sunrise in December 2022. Therefore, this mower will no longer work with the connected functions and automatic SW updates. Bosch has not found a solution for this problem until today and the mowers have been taken out of sale in many shops (e.g. Hornbach). I have been trying unsuccessfully for almost 9 months to get a refund from Bosch. DO NOT BUY this version.

The Indego has a communication module that is only 2G-capable. Therefore, a conversion campaign is underway in which a new module will be inserted into the Indego and new software will be installed. Until the device has been converted, it will not be possible to operate it via the app. The Indego will therefore be displayed as offline in the app. During the transition period, however, the Indego can only be operated manually.
