Is the Huawei Watch GT 2 Elegant Edition (Bluetooth version 5.0) compatible with the Samsung Galaxy s7 (Bluetooth version 4.2)?

Yes, huawei watches are compatible with Android phones. Just download the Huawei health app and you're ready to go. Even compatible with Apple phones, but then only to a limited extent.
