Is the GPS signal recorded as a track? Can this be displayed in Garmin BaseCamp?

Hello
Yes, the GPS is recorded as a track and can be imported very easily into BaseCamp and adapted if necessary (e.g. linked to another track).
I also have a Garmin Edge 1000 for cycling, where the track can be imported directly (from Vivoactive) - or via BaseCamp.
I am currently very satisfied with the watch.
