Is the extra CHF 690 compared to the Sony XR-55A80L justified? I'm coming from a 12 year old 42" Bravia LCD and don't know if I want to pay that much extra money if the difference isn't really night and day.
So the question is of course a problem in itself. Just read product reviews and see. After all, you are asking for an opinion that comes from X random person. For example, people who would really rate the worst crap as "good". Or, on the contrary, don't like even good products for totally irrational reasons.
The TV seems to be super in terms of picture (day/night after 12 years of LCD: very probably yes. It was the same for me).
However, I have certain problems with sound dropouts, but I have a Sony soundbar and don't know to what extent the problem is caused by that or the eArc. But since I have to restart the TV from time to time, I'm not entirely satisfied and am still hoping for updates. And really just my opinion, the "Professional" setting for films is unbeatably good. On the other hand, I find the sound from the TV itself (I find with everyone) really not suitable for a cinema experience in any way.
I can't compare it, but I am very satisfied with the device
Hammer Oled finally from Sony which is affordable
The TV is worth every cents.
It's my first OLED and I'm thrilled!
