Is the distance between the outer threaded holes (on the side) 102mm? So exactly the same as with a 3.5" HD? And are they M3 threads (like 3.5" HD)? When installing in an iMac, this has to be exactly right!

I have just installed this bracket in an iMac (early 2009). Fit perfectly.

I'm not quite sure now because it's been a while - but it should be "compatible" with a 3.5" bay. In any case, I haven't noticed anything unusual.
