is the delivery time of 6-8 weeks correct? you can see from the previous questions that people were asking about this 6 months ago. Has the product ever been delivered in the meantime?

If ordered now, it would probably arrive at the beginning of July. According to comments, it has been delivered in the meantime, yes.
