Is the cross of the chair made of metal or plastic? or is it stable?

the base is plastic but seems sturdy enough for 60kg and probably more. however the quality of some other parts is concerning. some screws got broke into 2 pieces while putting the chair together. and the back support pillow is nearly flat after couple weeks of use etc.
