We regularly have the container in the dishwasher. As with all narrow, tall containers, it must be placed in a position where the dishwashing arm rotates directly underneath it. Then it also gets clean. To be on the safe side, we rinse it briefly with cold water before the wash cycle.

Container can be put in the dishwasher but due to the height it does not always get clean if not soaked. The "mixing unit" does not.
