Compatibility is not a problem. It is a Bluetooth device and can be paired without any problem. Once it's up and running, it's up and running without any problems. Like everything in the sector, sometimes you have to reboot or something, but SMS, messages and other notifications that the iPhone displays (e.g. barfi.ch News) are shown on the watch.

I paired my Samsung S3 Classic with the old iPhone 6 Plus and now with the iPhone X - no problem. However, when you change phones, you have to reset the watch completely (for data protection reasons, so that the watch is not paired with another mobile phone and then, for example, heart rate or fitness data is transferred without you wanting it to be).
