Is the card compatible with the ASUS PRIME Z270-A? Because the Thunderboltex 3 is no longer available on your site.

If memory serves, the EX3 and EX4 have very different internal connectors. I haven't checked the diagram, but even if the pinout was identical, there's no way of swapping the two without a custom cable.

Unfortunately, on the manufacturer's website, the PRIME Z270-A does not appear in the list of cards compatible with ThunderboltEX 4 :(
