Is the cable for MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Mid 2014)? The description says something about MacBook Air....
Hello Carla, yes the plug fits, i.e. MagSafe 2, but with 45W it will not be able to fully charge your MacBook Pro at high load. So for your model, the MagSafe 2 with 60W would be recommended. Greetings
