Is only one HDM 2.1 port sufficient if you want to operate a SONOS Arc Soundbar, SwisscomTV with netflix and a PS5 all in Dolby Atmos? Or would the PS5 also have to be plugged into an HDMI 2.1 port in order to have Dolby Atmons?
I found the following information in a forum regarding Atmos:
"The Atmos data is transported "piggyback" in the meta information of a Dolby TrueHD or DD+ bitstream.
So every interface that can transmit the respective format is in principle also capable of transmitting Atmos sound.
This works with HDMI from 1.3, DD+ can even be transmitted by S/PDIF (optical = Toslink) and HDMI-ARC."
