Question about TechniSat Digital radio 10 IR

Sunrise UPC transmits DAB+ radio but on a frequency band dedicated to cable. Unfortunately the tuner on this model doesn't support it. To receive radio programmes, you'll either have to use the wired antenna supplied with the radio (DAB+ or FM), or use the internet radio function.

I have no idea because I use a standard aerial to receive FM and DAB radio over the air. Using your smartphone for internet access doesn't make any difference to the operator because it's the webradio site you want to reach that counts and that determines whether or not it's compatible with the device in question. To keep things simple, you can do the opposite, play the music with your usual smartphone app and have a Bluetooth connection with your hi-fi system. There are a large number of simple boxes that allow this, such as the Fiio BR13, which is one of the most complete and recent. Happy New Year 2024 and, above all, good connections.

Our cable network in Baden-Württemberg currently still broadcasts analogue radio stations.
The cable switchover to DAB is still pending. I therefore have no experience of the situation that will then arise.
In any case, the device receives Internet radio via the Internet connection/WLAN and DAB via radio/antenna.

I have connected the device to the Internet from iway via WLAN. This works perfectly. It should also work "at least" with mbudget via WLAN.
