Is it true that the adapters that go into the watch are stainless steel? I'm not so bright with metal, but as titanium is stronger, does it scratch this part of the band or does it have a negative effect on the watch in any way?

I doubt that the metal links that are inserted into the watch are made of stainless steel - you should IMO see a difference in colour otherwise.
I've had the band for quite a long time now, with a normal titanium Apple Watch 7 and with an Ultra ( 1 generation ) and so far have no scratches on the band or on the watches from the band - my old MacBook Pro on the other side has got some scratches from the band on the "watch side" at the edge 😂
