Question about HTC Vive Pro
Is it possible to use this headset while sitting at a desk? I don't have enough space at the moment to play with arm movements and would still like to be able to immerse myself in the VR world a little...
Yes, you can.
You will be asked during the SteamVR setup whether you want to use the headset standing (roomscale) or sitting. However, it may be that certain games only make sense in roomscale (with a movement space of at least 2m x 1.5m). Therefore, I would clarify beforehand which games you would like to play. But I think most of them are playable in both modes (at least theoretically). I only have experience with roomscale, so I can't help too much.
