Question about Alpine Ezi-Dab-Bt
Is it possible to use the Alpine device directly via the original display and the steering wheel remote control in the Renault Clio 4 2012 (version with touchscreen, sat nav, steering wheel remote control)? There are quite a few devices that unfortunately do not support this. Many thanks for your feedback
This is practically impossible for manufacturer-independent systems - because that would require close integration with the existing radio and the bus system (for the control, possibly even the display) that is almost certainly installed. Car manufacturers are already finding it difficult to offer an upgrade with a fully integrated DAB receiver. In most cases, a DAB preparation (additional antenna, connector on the wiring harness and the bus) is required.
