Question about Bandai Namco Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum'n Fun - Collectors Edition

Is it possible to play this game with the Switch Lite? As far as I know, the Drum has a USB-A port, which is used to connect it to the regular Switch. Could it possibly also be connected to a Switch Lite with a USB-A to USB-C adapter? Thanks for an answer :)
