Is it possible to feed a Swisscom/Sunrise/Salt fibre connection directly into the computer with this adapter (without a fibre-ethernet converter, apart from the fact that you need a PIN)?

I cannot answer this question with absolute certainty, but it is very unlikely. A MAC address of the CPE/modem must be stored in the Swisscom, Sunrise etc. system. This is the fibrebox. A direct connection to the fibre optic network is therefore most likely not possible. It is best to contact Swisscom etc. and clarify with them whether they can set up their own device directly on the fibre.
