Question about Sony Dvp-Sr760h
Is it possible to connect a laptop (which otherwise only has an HDMI output (not input)) from USB to USB to be able to read data / listen to CD audio / watch DVD (with a DVD viewer on the laptop)?
No, that is not possible. The player is really just standalone and cannot be connected to the PC in any way.
