Is it possible to attach it to other types of RAM than Corsair's Vengeances? Like for example Fury from HyperX? While keeping the same dimensions etc.

Hello,
If it's the same dimensions or less high, of course you can fix it on the other types of RAM ;)
I have this with revenge, it cools well however I still haven't found a way to regulate the fan...it's on full blast and (for me) it's a bit disturbing..even if it's a pretty low sound..
I hope I have been able to help you.

I'm not sure if it's a good idea to use a different type of RAM, but I'm not sure if it's a good idea to use a different type of RAM, because it's not a good idea to use a different type of RAM, but it's a good idea to use a different type of RAM.The fact that you answer your own question (if the dimensions are the same, it's a must), it's a universal RAM cooling so it'll fit on everything as long as it doesn't exceed the height limit, which is obviously like my Kingston HyperX Predator, which is 55.25mm which is higher than the Avengers, but the Fury is much lower.

As for noise and regulation, this is done naturally in the BIOS or the motherboard software, but even at full speed it's quiet (in my case it's the only fan on the motherboard, the rest is on a NZXT Grid+)

but it's not like it's a useful thing, even at 10% rpm it'll do its job, it's more of an aesthetic thing than anything else (let's just say that except for 2800 DDR3 or 4 the RAM doesn't get hot enough to justify it)
