Is it normal for the device to be defective after 2 years? I have already registered the first device as a warranty claim and received a new device. After exactly 2 years, the problems are starting again and I suspect that it won't be long before it stops working. Even if it's still under warranty, it's very tedious and inconvenient to send the device in again.

We regret that the item appears to have reached the end of its life cycle after 2 years. For many items, the minimum service life is expected by the manufacturer. With electronic products, it is rarer for items to function for 10 years.
