Since the Kobo Glo HD still uses an SD card as its internal memory, it is possible to upgrade the memory by installing a larger SD card.

No, the Kobo Glo HD cannot be expanded with an SD card. Only the 4GB internal memory is available. However, this memory can be accessed via USB as a mass storage device.
