Mmmm not sure, it would only be compatible up to 6th generation... I have a 2018 iPad Pro and couldn't buy the newer model.

I reread your question and found that the latest generation of iPad Pro is the 6th and that for the iPad Air, the latest mentioned is the 5th; then they only indicate the screen sizes (11" or 13")...
