Is devolo Magic 2 compatible with dLAN 550+WIFI?

NO - the new stuff from Devolo, devolo Magic is only compatible with Devolo Magic (1 and 2).

The old dLan 550+ and dLAN 1200+ Powerline from Devolo are compatible with each other, and also with other manufacturers, e.g. Swisscom dLAN adapters.

You can use both "in parallel" in one household - but that's not really the point - it's only useful if you simply need a network in two places without a WLAN

connection... (e.g. via Magic from the basement to the upper floor and via the old dLAN from the basement to another room.

Hi, I would say yes, but I wouldn't do it. If you change Magic 2, replace them all. It's like driving a Ferrari with the handbrake on.
