Yes - the box is part of the TV
The box is really included, unfortunately mine was already defective on delivery. Now I have to wait 2-4 weeks for a replacement. The handling of this warranty case is not really customer-friendly and still has a lot of room for improvement!
The question was already asked 7 months ago (see above under "Questions about the product") by harispepic and answered with "yes" by urbe2006.
However, I must also add here that the product description at Digitec and the technical data sheet regarding your question are not really clearly described.
