Question about AsRock X470D4U
Is a BIOS update (via IPMI) possible without a CPU? I am considering using this board with the announced Ryzen 3700X CPU. Since yesterday, there is a new BIOS version on the ASRock Rack website. If the board is still delivered with an earlier BIOS version, is a BIOS update also possible without a supported CPU? Certain manufacturers/boards support this via IPMI, but I have not found any information on this on the ASRock Rack website.

With an 1800x or 2400G, the board does not obtain an IP and is therefore not accessible via IPMI for the BIOS.
Likewise without a CPU. (But perhaps I simply lack the knowledge)
I could only install the bios update for the 3000 with a 2700x CPU. See AsRokRack CPU list
The IPMI, however, is really top-notch. SSK keys can be stored and HW that is switched off can be switched on as usual, etc.
