In the Bios it shows only 2166Mhz and in the GPU-ID even only 1064Mhz why that? XMP is activated Mainboard MSI X370 Gaming Pro Carbon Processor AMD Ryzen 5 1600X 3.60GHz
hello you have not considered or understood how the whole thing works. ddr=double data rate i.e. the actual frequency is always half of the displayed frequency, therefore the gpu-id reads out the effective frequency and not the doubled one. the processor officially supports only 2166MHz by default but you can definitely clock the latches higher. i would advise you to first do a bios update to the latest bios before you change anything in the values. i also recommend entering the frequency and timings by hand and setting the voltage of the bars to the specified value. at about 3000mhz there is a "hole" i.e. 2933 then try 3200 or higher.
Problem has been solved it is the processor that can max. 2166MHz.
How high do you think I can overclock the memory clock frequency of the processor?
