In a network of different adapters, e.g. 200, 500, 1200 MBit/s, does it matter which adapter is connected to the router to feed the signal into the power line? Does it have to be the biggest one (1200 MBit/s) or can the 200 MBit/s adapter also be connected to the router? We don't want the performance of the faster adapters to suffer ;). Thanks in advance for your answer(s).
It is recommended to use the fastest adapter with the router. But if you have several adapters, you can test this. Logically, the fastest adapter can only communicate with a slower adapter at its maximum speed.
