I'm not sure if it's possible to do a BIOS flash without a cpu? I have this motherboard, the 13900k, but the problem is that I couldn't do the BIOS update because I don't have a 12th gen Intel cpu.

Yes, the BIOS FlashBack button on the card is for that.
You need a USB 2.0 flash drive, maximum 32gb (smaller goes too), formatted FAT 32 in the smallest size available.
Download the update from the ASUS website and put the ZIP file on the USB stick, unzip the file in the same place.
Rename the bios file with the .exe renamer provided.
Put the renamed bios file in the root of the USB and remove everything else.
And then you should be able to boot and use the BIOS FlashBack button (with the USB in the appropriate port) to flash your BIOS.
