If you don't need the whole 10 metres of these LEDs, can you disconnect the excess and connect it to another place? For example, on a table that is in a different place. And if so, are there additional connections for this? Only one connection is included here.

No. You would need a different power supply unit for it to have any power at all. But I don't know if it's possible to buy an additional power supply and connect it.
