If I want to buy the device for my VW T5, where a 2 DIN Pioneer FH-X840DAB is currently installed, do I still need an adapter plug, or are they standardised?

It is a DIN plug.

As far as I know, it should be connected with an adapter.
I'm not sure that the original plugs will fit.
