If I understand correctly, I pay 40 for the card, and I immediately get one month of internet at 300mbps, then if I want another month of internet at 300mbps, I just have to top up the card when I need it (for example in 6 months?) Or do I have to have 40.00 per month on the card to keep it? Thank you for your help!

That's it, you activate the card for CHF 40.00 for the first month, then you can choose in the preferences to be debited every month or on a one-off basis.
