If I have a slot in a device that has an Intel SSD 600p in it, can I just replace it with an Intel SSD 660p? Are they compatible? There are slight discrepancies in the specifications that make me a little unsure. Thanks in advance

Helpful answer

Hello Mombonilom. The Intel 600p has an M.2 interface - in my opinion you can use the Intel 660p on this without any problems, it is worth a try, as the 660p is approx. 8-10 times faster and has much more memory.

Both NVMe, one TLC the other QLC. but should work.

Hello Mombonilom. I share the perplexity of my previous commentator: what exact differences did you find? The slot, the length of the card and the protocol (NVMe) all seem to be the same to me. Please clarify your question. Thank you.

What kind of deviations? Because the connector is m.2, the protocol can be Sata or NVMe, but I think the 660p only exists as NVMe.
